Saturday, September 26th, 9 - 10:30 am
Emily Rose Meredith, with more than ten years of experience in astrology, Human Design, hypnosis, and breathwork, will guide you through one of the clearest ways to understand how you are meant to move through life: your Profile.
Your Profile influences how you attract both romantic and platonic relationships, find jobs and career opportunities, and the role you naturally take in your community. Emily Rose’s approach helps you understand how to work with your natural energy and connect with others.
What This Session Covers: In this class, you’ll learn what your Profile is, how to find it in your chart, and how to start using it as a guide for three key areas of your life:
Relationships. How your Profile influences the way you connect with romantic partners, what you need to feel safe and seen, and the patterns that tend to show up in your closest bonds.
Work. Discover which roles and environments truly support you, and how your Profile can guide you toward work that feels right for you instead of something you have to force.
Community. Learn about the part you play among those around you, and how understanding this can make it easier to contribute and feel like you belong.
By the end of the class, you’ll understand your Profile and have practical language to describe the roles you play in your relationships, work, and community.
This Is For You If...
You're curious about your patterns and want to understand more about the roles you take on with the people closest to you.
You're new to Human Design and are looking for a approachable and accessible starting point.
You want to explore your natural strengths and how they fit into relationships, work, and community.
You'll leave with:
Your personal Human Design chart, calculated from your own birth details
Clarity on how you learn best, through deep research, trial and error, or stepping back into solitude
A better understanding of the gap between how you see yourself and how others experience you
A clear sense of the role you're naturally here to play, and how to use it day to day

What Is Forest Bathing?
Forest bathing invites you to slow down and let a forest hold your attention: the light through the canopy, the smell of soil after rain, the sound of birds settling in for evening. There is no pace to keep and no distance to cover; the practice asks only that you notice.
This is a walking meditation, using the forest itself as the object of attention. Together, we remember what many before us have always known: that our true selves are both larger and smaller than our human bodies alone, and that extending care toward the land nourishes us in return.
Outside Our Brick & Mortar
This is the first Soulful Journey, a step outside our usual space. Meet us at the visitors center at Hoyt Arboretum, where you'll be greeted and guided into the woods by our Events Weaver Greer, and your guide Heather.
Meet Heather Dorfman
Heather Dorfman (she/her) has been shaped by relationships with mountains, trees, water, dirt, moss, and many other beings. After many years of walking alongside people through loss, crisis, and trauma as a community social worker, she stepped outside, literally, and remembered the refuge so many find in the other-than-human world. That path led her into guided Forest Therapy, also known as forest bathing, through training with the Association of Nature and Forest Therapy.
In addition to being a certified Forest Therapy Guide, Heather carries over twenty years of experience accompanying people during and after loss, grief, crisis, and trauma. She is an adjunct professor of social work at Portland State University, a certified mediator, and trained in Wilderness First Aid.
Heather brings a practice grounded in cultural humility, collaborating to create spaces that center safety and ease for all who join her, especially those most often harmed by systems of domination. She walks with the lands and beings of her home as a guest, learning from the More-Than-Human World every day.
***Two participants are being offered at 50% off, and Two are free (first come, first serve). Email Jinhee@soulfulpdx.com to reserve your spot.
Thursday, October 8th, 4pm-6pm
When we talk about the heart, we can see it as the home of the soul, where we feel love, joy, and a sense of spiritual connection.
But in today’s busy world, we often lose touch with ourselves.
Kirtan helps us reconnect. By singing mantras together and practicing Bhakti yoga, we open our hearts and calm our minds. The shared sound, breath, and rhythm bring us back to the present, relax our bodies, and let us truly rest.
Mantras can help us reach higher states of awareness, where we can find our natural sense of joy, harmony, and love. It’s an ancient tradition shared by wise teachers and spiritual leaders for thousands of years.
Many ancient and indigenous cultures use sound and vibration to heal.
With Prema’s forty-five years of mantra experience and dedication to this practice, along with your openness and trust in your ability to heal, we can create the change you are looking for.
Come join us for an evening of mantra meditation, storytelling, and chanting with Prema Mayi, a Bhakti yoga practitioner and musician who has spent 48 years living and learning in India, France, and Spain.
Participants are encouraged to bring yoga mats, wear comfortable clothing, and bring nesting materials for laying/sitting.
Tuesday, October 6th, 7pm-8:30pm
Part One
The Liberation Journey
The evening begins with a 9D Breathwork journey, experienced lying comfortably on the floor with headphones and an eye mask. A deeply immersive soundscape combines intentional breathing with guided coaching, visualization, and sound-based techniques to create an experience that invites you to turn inward and explore the patterns and stories that have shaped you.
The journey explores survival, self-trust, personal agency, and liberation. Some of the patterns we developed once helped protect us, but may no longer serve the person we are becoming.
Through the breath and immersive sound experience, you'll be invited to connect with emotion, look at the past from a different perspective, reclaim your voice, and create space for what comes next. Rather than trying to change or fix anything, this is an invitation to experience yourself differently.
Liberation is for anyone who is ready to stop being defined by what came before and begin creating space for what comes next.
Part Two
Reiki Sound Bath With Alexa Jett
Following the Breathwork journey, Alexa Jett will guide you into a deeply restorative Reiki Sound Bath, using crystal singing bowls and other sound instruments while infusing the experience with Reiki energy. Alexa is a Reiki Master in the Usui/Holy Fire III tradition and a certified sound healer, and her sound-bath practice weaves Reiki with the vibrational tones of crystal singing bowls to support deep relaxation, grounding, and energetic balance.
Within the crystal-filled environment of Soulful, the sound bath becomes an opportunity to simply stop doing and receive. After the active experience of the Breathwork, the sounds, vibrations, Reiki energy, and surrounding presence of the crystals create a spacious environment for rest, reflection, and integration.
The intention you bring into the room becomes part of your experience. The crystals, the breath, the sound, and the energy of the space provide a beautiful backdrop for that intention to unfold.
Your Guides
Meet Alexa & Michael
Alexa Jett | Psychic Medium & Sound Healer
Alexa Jett is a psychic medium, Reiki Master, and sound healing practitioner based in Portland, Oregon. A lifelong intuitive, she blends psychic insight, evidential mediumship, Reiki energy healing, and crystal singing bowls to create experiences that help people reconnect with themselves, strengthen their intuition, and deepen their connection with Spirit.
Following in the card-reading tradition of her Indonesian-Dutch grandmother, Alexa has long been drawn to the unseen world and the ways intuition can guide, heal, and inspire. Since 2022, she has offered private readings, mentorship, workshops, and community events throughout the Pacific Northwest, online, and at select events beyond the region. Whether through mediumship, tarot readings, or Reiki-infused sound baths, Alexa creates welcoming spaces that support reflection, relaxation, and a deeper connection to inner wisdom.
Michael Burns | Bodyworker & Breathwork Facilitator
Born and raised in Portland, Michael Burns has spent decades helping people reconnect with their bodies through touch, breath, and presence. A licensed massage therapist and certified 9D Breathwork facilitator, he brings together years of experience in bodywork with a calm, grounded approach to personal transformation.
Michael believes that lasting change doesn't come from fixing ourselves, but from creating the space to listen deeply to what our bodies have been trying to tell us all along. His sessions blend science-backed breathwork with immersive sound, music, and guided experiences that help quiet the thinking mind and access deeper levels of awareness, emotional release, and self-discovery.
Known for his warmth, authenticity, and gentle sense of humor, Michael creates a safe and welcoming environment where participants can explore at their own pace. Whether someone is completely new to breathwork or has an established practice, his intention is simple: to help people leave feeling more connected to themselves than when they arrived.
When he's not facilitating breathwork, Michael continues his massage practice, lives on the water, and is passionate about building community through meaningful experiences that support healing, resilience, and personal growth.
What to Bring
You'll be lying on the floor for much of the evening, so bring whatever you need to make yourself deeply comfortable, however you may request a mat/chair on first come, first serve basis.

Psychic Medium & Psychometry Readings with Kristin
Sunday, October, 11th, 11 am - 6 pm
Samhain signals the shift from harvest time into the darker part of the year, when the boundary between worlds grows thin. Brooms have always played a role in this season. People use them to sweep away old energy, mark thresholds, and make space for endings and new beginnings. Making your own broom by hand connects you to this tradition of protecting and clearing your home when the veil is thin. It is a special time to reach out to the divine and your ancestors for support. The twigs you gather, the herbs you add, and the ribbon you pick all become part of a tool made just for this season.
Every material in this workshop is sourced with care, from small growers and ethical suppliers chosen for how they were grown and gathered, alongside how they will look on your altar or in your home.
Your Registration Includes:
A guided broom-making experience where you will walk away with a custom 28" besom
All the materials you need to build and decorate your broom
Materials You'll Use
Sweet Huck and Natural Birch Twigs for your bristles
10+ varieties of premium dried herbs and botanicals to choose from
7+ velvet-frayed premium ribbon options to choose from alongside your twine to bind everything together
Handmade Vintage Indian Tin Bells
An assortment of ethically sourced feathers
You might know Emily from her Human Design classes and moon ceremonies at Soulful. Beyond her teaching, she has devoted thirteen years to exploring magick: casting wards, gridding her home, creating altars, and crafting spells. Her passion for design and deep dedication to magick have come together in this workshop, a thoughtful practice crafted especially for the Samhain season.
Emily Rose rarely offers group crafting sessions, so this is a special chance to join her personal practice. Registration is non-refundable, as materials and space are prepared for each participant.
Sunday, October 18th, 9am-11am

Sunday, October 25th, 7pm-8:30pm
When November arrives, nature turns inward. Trees let go of their last leaves, gardens sink back into the earth, animals become quieter, and the days grow shorter and darker. Underneath it all, roots keep working quietly, nourished by the earth, as everything rests and prepares for the next season.
We move with these rhythms too. Our bodies and spirits follow the same cycles as nature. After the busy energy of summer and the changes of early autumn, November invites us to slow down, turn inward, and rest. Like the earth, we don’t have to be active all the time to be growing. Slowing down, settling in, and letting things become quiet has value.
Rooted Under the Autumn Canopy is a sound bath journey created to honor this season's deeper rhythm.
When you arrive, you can choose to receive seasonal aromatherapy with earthy, grounding scents inspired by November. After you settle in, we’ll start with a gentle body awareness and tension release from your toes to your head, helping your body relax from the ground up.
Next, a guided meditation will help you go deeper into your mind, body, and spirit. This meditation will gently lead you into the sound bath, so you can move smoothly from the inner world of your imagination to the world of sound around you.
You’ll then be surrounded by the sounds of the Chinese Chau gong, 432 Hz crystal singing bowls, Himalayan bowls, crystal harp, crystal pyramid, and different chimes as the music moves around you. Like lying under autumn trees, these sounds create a space where you can feel safe, grounded, and away from the rush of daily life.
This is an invitation to follow the season’s rhythm: to let go, settle in, turn inward, and rest under November’s quiet canopy.
Meet Gabrielle of Hearthsounds Sound Healing
Gabrielle’s connection to sound began personally. Years ago, her therapist suggested she try a sound bath to help calm her busy mind and ease her stress and anxiety. Within minutes of that first session, she felt a shift. Sound became an important part of Gabrielle’s self-care, helping her rest, quiet her mind, stay present, and reconnect with herself beneath the noise of daily life.
That first experience inspired Gabrielle to learn, practice, and share sound with others. When she started playing singing bowls, her curiosity led her to explore sound’s history, traditions, science, and its effects on the body and nervous system. Gabrielle’s background in piano and French horn gave her a strong base in music theory, rhythm, harmony, and vibration, which still shapes her work. She has learned from great teachers and mentors, and continues to learn and grow in her practice.
At Hearthsounds, Gabrielle believes we are connected to the natural world. We move through our own seasons of growth, activity, release, rest, and renewal, just like nature does. As a nature-based practitioner, Gabrielle brings this awareness into her sound baths, creating experiences that honor both the season and the rhythms inside and around us.
The changing seasons can guide us: spring and summer bring energy, autumn is for letting go, winter is quiet, and then comes the return of light and growth. Nature shows us there is a time for everything—blooming, letting go, movement, and stillness. Gabrielle’s sound baths offer space to notice these rhythms within ourselves.
Gabrielle uses many instruments, such as 432 Hz crystal singing bowls, Himalayan bowls, Chinese Chau gong, svaram storm, therapy harp, crystal harp, crystal pyramid, meditation and Koshi chimes, shruti box, ocarina drone flute, and Native drum. She blends their sounds to create an immersive experience. Gabrielle also includes nature sounds in each sound bath, connecting the world around us with our inner experience.
Each sound bath is designed to help you step out of the rush of daily life and find a quieter connection with your body, mind, and spirit. With guided visualization, breathing, nature imagery, and layered instrument sounds, Gabrielle invites you to relax, receive, rest, and reconnect with the deeper part of yourself.
For Gabrielle, sound is not simply something we listen to. For her, sound is more than something we hear—it is something we experience. It can move around and through us, helping us reconnect with ourselves and the living world we belong to.

Cultivating Self Love: The art of coming back to yourself
How can we begin to cultivate more compassion and forgiveness for ourselves for what we had to do to survive so we can move forward with more courage and willingness to be where we are? Self love is about being honest with yourself even if it feels incredibly uncomfortable.
Appreciating all the parts of yourself so you can experience gratitude authentically. This allows you more capacity to receive love in your life because you're no longer rejecting and resisting the parts you don't like about yourself.
Self love is not just about rainbows and roses either. It's about how real you can get with yourself. How raw and honest you can be about where you are and how you feel in every moment of your life. It's about honoring yourself even when it may not be in agreement with others.
We'll explore this together in this talk and come out the other side with a deeper understanding as to what self love really feels and looks like for you.
